Choosing what’s best for your home
Palmer Construction installs all types of windows and doors. These can all be done in conjunction with your siding upgrade work, as stand- alone replacement units, or even a brand new installation.
When it comes time choosing the right windows and doors, we can help you to select what’s best for your home and family. Whether your need is a single picture window replacement or many of the windows are foggy indicating that they have lost their seal, we will help you choose the best possible combination for your needs. Thermal performance, frame material, interior and exterior finishes and hardware options all affect how a window or door compliments your home.
Window and Door Types
Vinyl Frames: Vinyl can come in a variety of colors to match or complement the exterior of your home. They never need to be painted or stained. Compartments of air inside the vinyl edging can help insulate against temperature loss. Vinyl is a standby, and is lighter and more affordable than other options
Fiberglass: Fiberglass for windows and doors is a newer material design. Fiberglass is a strong and rigid replacement for aluminum with better energy ratings. The seals on fiberglass last longer because fiberglass material doesn’t expand and contract with the weather. Fiberglass window frames require less material to support your windows due to their strength, which can mean thinner edges and more glass to your design.
Wood: Wood features are traditional and elegant. Well constructed and cared for wood can provide a lifetime of use. Wood is strong and sturdy, and the option to restain or paint in the future adds design flexibility to wood. Palmer Construction offers wood framed windows with cladding to protect the exterior of your frame from weather and insects.
No matter you plans or ideas, big or small, Palmer Construction can make it happen.
